Narrated Heritage Tour of Atlanta

Atlanta’s Black history and civil rights legacy are at the heart of the city’s story, shaping its culture, community, and reputation as a national leader in progress. This tour brings that powerful history to life as we explore the neighborhoods, visionaries, and movements that fueled change—from the birthplace of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. to the influential institutions of the Atlanta University Center and the grassroots activism that pushed desegregation and opportunity forward.

Along the way, visitors will see how historic churches, businesses, and landmark sites laid the groundwork for Atlanta’s political, social, and economic rise. Today, the city continues to shine as a symbol of resilience and innovation, with thriving Black-owned businesses, global cultural impact, and a new generation building on Atlanta’s legacy of leadership and justice.

We’ll enjoy lunch at The Sweet Auburn Curb Market, the city’s oldest farmers market and a beloved local institution.
